Regardless of our personalities, we are obligated to be social beings, and one of the ways we do this is by communicating with other people who are like ourselves. However, just communicating with other people doesn't work all the time; there are days when we either grow tired of the contemporary norms we have grown accustomed to or simply yearn for something else that will make us feel special and brighten our day. This is where animals come into play.
Like us, animals are one of the inhabitants of the world. Even though some people believe that humans are superior to other creatures, animals have long demonstrated their ability to survive both with and without us. But when we work together and keep them as pets, we realize that this makes life much simpler for everyone, so in this write-up, I'll discuss which animal I would like to keep as a pet and why.

MY FAVOURITE PET
I've had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of animals throughout my life, including chicken, goats, dogs, turkeys, rabbits, and others, but among all of them, the dog stands out as my absolute favorite and the animal I'd really like to have as a pet at any time, they're just a fantastic creature that's full of life and always fascinating to be around, I suppose that's one reason why I'll choose dogs over other animals.
WHY DOGS?
Like I said earlier, dogs are unique creatures that are fun to be around, and aside from that, they've got some mind-blowing qualities that make me admire them and make me always choose them over other animals; some of those qualities are listed below.

COMPASSIONATE: Dogs have a reputation for being incredibly loving and compassionate creatures that have a propensity to understand humans and can literally become sober whenever their owner isn't well or in good health like they used to. However, if you fall ill as a dog owner, you'll notice that they'll mostly feel sober and want to spend time with you until you're okay.

SECURITY: Dogs are one of the most security-conscious house pets, and they know to be always alert when they see strange faces or any sight of danger. They tend to sound an alarm by barking, and when possible, chase away the intruder or just attack to protect their owners and their territory.

EXERCISE/FUN: Dogs are known to be happy animals who prefer to be outside running around, They are capable of doing this on their own, but as we all know, doing things by yourself is never very enjoyable like when Someone can participate with you in it, Dogs are the kind of animals that, when you're outside with them, can suddenly start running around and then come back to you to engage in the excitement by joining in or tossing an object for the dog to pick up.
These and several other qualities, like loyalty and friendliness, are one of the several reasons I'd love to keep or buy a dog to have it as a pet. They are lovely creatures, and I hope you'll one day love to get a dog as well to enjoy their wonderful features.
