To get the best out of children, then it's of esteem important that we nurture them in a fun filled environment, because children as the tendency to learn more from an entertaining environment that they'll in a strict environment, beside depriving kids from playing could lead to them having a low self esteem, depress and the likes.

I could remember during my childhood days there were no technological device which children can play with, so most times when we want to play, we had go make do with the traditional children games we saw our elder siblings indulge in while we were still little, and all these games are always interesting and they literally got us joyous.
Although while most of these games we engage in during my childhood days were entertaining and fun filled, but I wouldn't say they're all educative, because some just to me an avenue to catch fun without getting anything insightful or worthy of impact to our future to gain from it.
But since the topic is centered around games kids can indulge in and still get impacted positively from aside the fun parts of the game, I'll be sharing the once I did during my childhood that are educative, and which we tend to learn from and also impact our mental and academic performance.

TALO MO
The word talo mo is a Yoruba
word that mean who knows it, and it's a fun filled game that I and my colleague engage in during our primary school days, and despite being fun filled, it's also very educative, and growing up made me realize the impact of the game, and no wonder no one ever stopped us from playing or participating in the talo mo games, unlike we would be stop from playing other games.
The game is just like the fill-in in the gap we now have in our primary school subject, but unlike the fill-in the gap, that few words would have been provided among the place be filled, the talo mo doesn't provide any words at all.
Below i site example of fill-in the gap and an example of tall mo game.
Fill-in the gap: in these type of game we have something like this;
To spell APPLE You can have a question like, fill-in the gap to spell a fruit _p_L_E
But in talo mo, if you're to spell APPLE no hint of words will be provided, the only hint you'll have is that you're about to spell a fruit, for instance;
Fill the gap to spell a fruit with five words.
_ _ _ _ _
With the above question, we can easily predict many fruit that have 5 words, but what makes these unique is that the coordinator of the game will already have answers to each question, so everyone will have to guess with a letter each, and whoever mention a letter that is in the coordinator secret word will earn a point, for example, guessing A will earn the guesser 1 point, while guess P will earn the guesser 2 point, because there are 2 P in Apple and 1 A, one of the ways there game help academically is that it aid critical thinking and our spelling ability.
So the more the letter you were able to get correctly, the more likeliness of you earning more points, and the amount of time the letter you guess appears in the current question, the more points you earn.

CHASER
Thus another fun filled game we engage on during childhood days and it's still very much in trend among children in my community and school, I don't know how to translate it meaning to English that's why I simply tag it chasers game, because it involve some form of chasing, although with limited steps, **but I believe the game as the capacity to brood out the athletic and long jump skills in our children from a tender age, am sure you'll want to know how these games can make an impact in these fields, below I talk about how the game is been played extensively.
- To play this game, A big circle will be drawn on the floor, and within that big circle, another smaller circle will be draw at the center of the big circle, so all the children that wish to participate in the game, will all stand at the edge of the big circle, like we have in the image below.
- After this, a coordinator of the game will take note of all the names of the participants, and after that he/she will call a name of anyone of the participants, and whoever name is been called must run to the middle of the smaller circle, while others will run as far as possible away from the circle.
But immediately the person whose name was called enter the small circle, they'll command everyone to stop running, then he/she can look around to see who's closest to the circle, so they can chaser such person, but the downside is that they can only take 3 steps from the circle, so that mean you must have a swift jumping ability to catch up with someone far away.
- So after telling everyone to stop and choosing who you want to chase, you star jumping your 3 steps as far as you can go, the pictures below shows the Step by step process of how the girl in red cloth chase after the girl in an orange colour cloth.
The funny part of the game and how winners is been decide is the first person to get to 50point, everyone start from zero point, but when your name is called and you're able to catch whoever you chase within 3 steps, then you'll automatically earn 5 point, while the person you catch will have -5 point.
But in a situation when you can someone and was unable to catch such person, then you'll have -5 point, while the person you catch earn 5point, so the name calling and chasing usually continue until someone first get 50 point, although it's possible to set shorter target like 20point to declare a winner.
