There are loads of words that can easily describe our personalities, ways of dealing with situations, and several others, and today in response to one of the writing prompts of the weekend experience, I'll be sharing three of those that qualify me, but before I dive into that, I'll love to celebrate @galenkp for the great job he has done in the past three years since the prompt as being running.
So without further ado, let's dive into the three key words for this section. I hope you'll find them worthwhile.
DETERMINATION: One of my key driving forces over the years that has made me an achiever and a winner is my determination trait. I've come to imbibe the act of being focused and determined on each of the tasks I've set my sights on, and that's made me a result-oriented fellow who won't relent until I've finally arrived at my desired destination.
Earlier this year, I remember setting some goals for myself, one of which was to power up at least one hive daily, and another was to publish at least one post on the hive blockchain per day. Many things stood as barriers that could have easily made me quit on those goals, such as illness, enormous offline activities, job demand, writer's block, and needs, but despite all of these, I stood my ground with a determined mindset that I must achieve the set goals no matter what.
Along the line, the device with which I come onboard the hive developed a fault, which could have deprived me of accessing the blockchain for 4 days and, in the long run, put an end to my long-running goals, but regardless of that, I sorted out ways by lending a friend a device through the night to write and schedule some content for some days till the device was fixed, and by the time I got it fixed, all of my goals that would have ended strayed alive because I was determined to achieve my set goal.
CARING: Caring is probably one of the last things someone who's just met me for the first time online will ever think I'm because of how sarcastic I talk, just like someone who doesn't give a damn about the emotions of others, but the bitter truth is that I truly care about others; I just find it hard to portray my emotions in the first instance, and I guess that's due to my experience with some I've displayed that side of me to and who had taken it for granted.
And I've come to showcase myself as a kind of hard guy who doesn't give a damn, but deep down I'm worried and can't literally get my mind off how such a person is fairing, yet I might not ask unless I see an opportunity to help, then I can do that and resume back to my hard guy, veil-faced guy. I can remember when a friend contacted me about someone who lost a huge amount of money while trying to send hives to Binance, and my response was so sarcastic to the point where the person had to apologize and said we should forget about it.
But fast forward to a few minutes later, when the same friend saw the amount I sent to the affected person so as to cover his losses, she came back to my DM and was talking about how surprised she was to see that I sent such a huge amount of hive to the affected person. I just smiled and said it's nothing, and from then on, she has been one who even defends me when others say I'm not caring due to my way of reacting to happenings.
FRIENDSHIP: Friendship is one of the beauties of any relationship. Having a true friend goes a long way in easing our life journey because a good friend can go to any length to make sure we make the right decisions at the nick of time. I'm the kind of person who's very picky when choosing a friend. As an introvert, I needed someone who understands me and sees things the way I do.
I myself am the type of friend who always looks out for her friends and always does everything within her capacity to make sure they are good. I don't have many friends, but the few I have are held dear to my heart because I believe I can't call someone my friend and yet watch him or her face difficulty without playing my part to help them scale through such a situation.
Friends are like our relations, companions, defenders, counselors, playmates, and much more. He who is a good friend is on track towards having a delightful experience in life.
