Hive isn't just another social media platform or another blockchain; it's an island of knowledge, a network of family, and a home to many who've been privileged to be blessed via it. I'm a testament to that, and I'm grateful for all I've learned via this amazing space that I've come to see as my second home, so today I'll share some lessons Hive has taught me.

Although I'm barely up to two years old on this space, I've been privileged to learn some valuable live lessons via my experience here and also from content published here by other users on the hive blockchain. That's to show how much wealth of knowledge and lessons the blockchain holds, and I'm grateful to have earned it all for free without having to undergo one masterclass, mentorship, or another.
One valuable lesson I learned via the Hive is that of a truth patience is indeed a virtue and that we shouldn't rush in and out of things because they aren't working the way we've envisioned. Life is a process, and so is the Hive. We shouldn't, because we envisioned the biggest process and couldn't get it, give up; instead, we should give it a try over and over again till we attain our desired height.
I can remember when I first came onboard the hive blockchain; things weren't going as planned on my post, and on several occasions I felt like giving up. In fact, some people who came onboard at the same time did give up because of the low support they were getting for their quality content. Like them, I would have done the same, but I could see others who were thriving, and that gave me the conviction that if they can do it, then nothing is going to stop me from doing the same.

Although, till this moment, I'm yet to attain the height I longed for, things have been much better than those days when I got a radio frequency's worth of votes on my posts as rewards for the quality content I published. Such can be disheartening, I know, but after making up my mind not to give up, I went on to learn more about the blockchain, and during those days of learning, I was still getting low turnout, but I never gave up. Instead, I learned how to improve myself, highlighted what others were doing differently, and when I implemented it in my blog, gradually the changes showed forth and gave birth to what we have today.
Fast forward to present day. Those who gave up then saw how well I'm doing and wished they didn't give up but kept striving, and hopefully they would have been at the same level as I am now. So in a nutshell, I'm glad hive Blockchain taught me that lesson, and I'm inculcating the act of patience in real life via this valuable lesson from hive.
