Today I'll be sharing and gracing your sight with the Pam Slippers I made for a client few days ago, before but I taken you through some of the procedure of making the footwear, I'll love to sharing some of the happening that plays out before and during the project.
I could remember some days ago I was preoccupied with some much work due to the Eid Mubarak Celebration, which lead to customer flooding into my store ordering for one footwear or the other, and I could remember I had to work both night and day alongside my partner so as so met up with everyone demand, fast forward to few days after the Celebrations, we had little or nothing to do at the store, just open in the morning, do some project if they're available, and when not, we just gist and head back home on the evening.
It's so funny how someone who was complaining on having too much to do some days ago, is now nagging on not having anything to engage on,guest that's life for you, well all thanks to God, while I was working on this Pam Slippers, and elderly man work into our store and said he'll love to make a shoe or boot for his twins boys whose birthday is coming up next well.
He said he saw the boot I made and placed in the showcase outside, and that was what made him stop by, because he felt if I can make something that good, then the one's he need for his twins will be in good hands, and after we discuss and concluded on the prize, I'll be working on the project soon, and will surely be sharing my project with you once achieved.

PROCESSES
- I started by cutting a paper pattern so I can easily get the pattern the client described, and one that was achieved, I placed it on the leather material to cut out the exact shape.
-
After that, i cut the upper, and sew it, then cut the outsole and the linning, and attach both together after rubbing gum on both parts.
-
Once this was done, I attached the upper to the insole and grinded it with a grinding machine, after that I apply gum on both the outsole and insole and joined them together.
- This is how the Pam Slippers looks after I got through with the project and polish it.
