The Legend of 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 || My Favourite Pet

The essence of pet to human can never be overemphasized, they literally create a bound so tight between themselves and their owner to the point where you basically see them as part of the family, and felt their opinion is a necessity before taking any action in the house.

I've been privileged to keep just one type of animal as pet, and I believe this animal got the sweetest soul any creation as ever posses on earth, and I'm taking about no other animal than the dog 🐕🐶, like we all know they are address as man best friend, and I see no way why the person who made such remark is wrong in any form.

My Best Pal 🐕

We've always had dog pet right from my childhood days, but the once I could vividly remember about, were the once my dad purchased, when I was gradually becoming more conscious of my surroundings, dad came home one faithful evening with a cartoon, and as a young boy that I was, I rush to check what was inside, with the hope of seeing some goodies, but what grace my sight was one of the most adorable creature I've ever seen.

I saw two healthy and innocent looking puppies inside the cartoon, and immediately I brought them out, they started wagging their tails and excitement of being free from the tiny space were they were kept, our friendships was like a love at first sight, via their behaviours, I named them 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩, and down the years we grew up to become best of friends.

They were so close to our family to the point where mum doesn't cook any meal she knew they 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 don't like eating, that mean we have to reinstate our food timetable, and aside that, just like their names, they usually behave wisely from their tender age, they don't poo in the house premises and neither do they scatter things all in the name of play.

They were free to walk into any parts of our house, and when anyone among us is ill, they seems to understand and show compassion for such individual, via spending more time with the person, or not eating if the person refuse to, this might sound like an exaggeration, but it's actually true.

They were our family best friend, and guard, I could remember they once chase a guy who stole and wore my elder brothers cloth, it happened that he washed and spread the cloth on the line, but couldn't find the cloth when he came back to park it inside, after few weeks the guy was walking along our street with the cloth on and they chased him like he stole their puppies 😂😂.

We had them for over 6years, and those period was one of the best and safest time in our family, because no thieves dare near our house, until one faithful day when some armed robbers came to rob a building in our neighborhood, and in the bid to help those people out, they were shoot down by the thieves😢🥺, they were greatly missed among our family and the people in the neighborhood.

We've had other dogs since they were killed, and we've had a good story to tell about each one of them, and I'll surely get one soonest, because they're the best friend you can ever ask for, in fact, they stick closer to us most time than some human friends will and they are also unlikely to betray nor backstab us like human do.
