Just yesterday I embarked on a journey to Ekiti State, Nigeria, from Lagos to attend the wedding ceremony of two close friends of mine I met during my national service year in the northern part of Nigeria, Yobe State to be precise. Being an indoor person, I hardly go out to appreciate the beauty of nature, but during this trip I was able to catch a glimpse of the beauty of the sky, and I decided to take some photos.
The vehicle was moving at top speed, so I didn't notice, but when we got to a part of the road during our journey, the bus driver stopped at a spot for a few minutes so each and every passenger could go down to stretch their feet and prepare themselves for the second half of the journey down to Ekiti State.
And that's when I gazed above and beheld this beauty, so I decided to capture some of it and share with y'all. It's always a thing of joy to behold nature in its greatness, feeling our sights with pleasant views just like this one over here.
While also taking the pictures, I realized some parts I wanted to capture were being blocked by some trees, and I wanted to give up on capturing them, but on the second note, I decided to capture them with the hope that some beauty would play out when the typography of the sky was complimented with some trees, and I think it didn't disappoint at all as the view is mind-blowing.
