Surviving the evolution of AI dominance

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the present and future of technological evolution, and though it is already amazing, it keeps improving on a daily basis. Right from the onset, humans have been on the quest to create something that'll ease the workload on them and also make life easier, and AI seems to do just that perfectly, so the importance of AI can never be overemphasized, but what we fail to envision is that when it realizes its full potential and takes our place, it tends to render us jobless because most of our job isn't what it can't do.

About a year ago, I remember coming across a photo online that shows a helicopter high in the sky with a cameraman standing at the edge of it to capture what's going on beneath the helicopter, and just under the same photo, it shows that in modern day, people now tend to use drones to capture the sky view of what's going on, and this kind of shows that within a few years interval, both the cameraman and the pilot of the helicopter lose their jobs to autopilot AI drones.

That's a photo, and what plays out within it is a typical example of what's going on presently in the world. AI seems to have taken over almost every industry, and we can't blame business owners for waiting to choose AI over humans, given the fact that AI is cost-effective and would most likely need a one-time payment and a few maintenance visits annually, compared to humans who might grumble at your instructions, pay wages on a regular basis, take excuses for health, weddings, childbirth, and several other constraints of humans, to mention but a few.

While AI has been the reason a lot of people lose their jobs, it has also been an avenue that improves the performance and knowledge of some others because, with it, we can now get most of the information we need within our fingers reach, which in the long run helps sustain their jobs. But if we look at it closely, is there really something AI can't do? I doubt there are any, given the ridiculous and mind-blowing stuff I'm seeing on a daily basis in our world today.

HOW THEN CAN I STAY RELEVANT IN AN AI DOMINATED WORLD?

I believe AI has dominated all industries and can get the job done faster, easier, and more efficiently. By profession, I'm a teacher, and I can say without a doctor that AI can teach any subject what's so ever with amazing instructions, materials, and the like, and one thing that even makes it kind of unique is that it never gets tired and can keep on working on and on until its mission is accomplished, unlike we Humans who get tired and need rest.

Despite all of AI's qualities, it lacks emotions, and neither does it have feelings or the ability to understand humans like we'll understand our fellow humans, so I believe I'll still be relevant in my profession as a teacher because I can sit a child down one on one and interact to know what is going on with such a child, and I can also use my experience and knowledge as someone who has gone through childhood to know what such a child is going through if he or she doesn't tell me what's wrong.

Humans are one of the most complicated creatures to understand, and I believe that's definitely going to be hard for AI to understand as well, so it takes a human to understand another and to treat one another in a way that will bring out the best in a child's academic performance. While AI can teach better and share reference resources for better understanding, I can do the same and much better with human interaction and genuine concern.

So In a nutshell, I believe that regardless of the evolution of AI, I'll still remain valuable to my teaching profession as a medium to earn and stay relevant, so AI as good as it's, can't take my place as a teacher, neither can it tae my role as father or parents.

That's all for my thoughts on the things I can do to stay relevant in an AI-dominant world, and they were inspired by the Hive Learner Community Features prompt.
