Survival of the fittest in the Champions League final

Manchester City booked a date with Inter Milan in the Champions League final after both teams came out victorious against their opponents in the semifinal games. Inter Milan were peered at by their arch rival AC Milan but were definitely the better team on both legs to come out with an aggregate of 3-0. Manchester City, on the other hand, settled for a draw in the first leg but humiliated the most successful team in the UCL out of the competition with an aggregate of 5-1.

Those victories signifies that both teams will be fighting it out for the Champions League trophy come June 10th, 2023, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul, in Turkey, while Inter Milan will be longing to extend their total Champions League trophy to 4. Manchester City, on the other hand, will all be aiming to win their first ever Champions League trophy.

Prior to and in the early stages of the competition, while most people had Manchester City among their most likely teams to enter the final and win the trophy, none had Inter Milan in such a prediction, and look how far we've come. I guess that's one of the beauties of football; the likes of PSG, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid that were destined to be the favorites have all crashed out, and here we've the underdog in Inter Milan fighting it out with Manchester City.

Inter have done pretty well in their journey towards the final, and I wish them well. Each of their players has been excellent, but I'll love to praise their goalkeeper, especially for saving their asses on several occasions, and that has helped him keep a whopping 8 clean sheets throughout the competition. I guess if they'll most likely win the trophy, then he must be at his best to stop the city's deadly attackers.

Personally, I'm gunning for City to win the Champions League because of the Gradiola-Barcelona connection and much more, but aside from that, City seems to be the best team between both teams, but each manager, including the players, must be at their best if they want to win the Champions League.

Thanks so much for your time, have a wonderful day ahead.
