Step by step process of making Bricks use for building construction

Welcome to my blog, in today's post, I'll be taking you through the step by step process of making bricks that are use for house construction, these is a job I once engage on during my growing up days to make ends meet and as well pay my bills then, but then thank God story as changed because brick making can be so tiring.

So visiting my brother who worked as a bricklayer in one of his site refresh my memory of one of those hustle I once engage on during my struggling days, so come along as I take you through the process of making these bricks.

MATERIALS NEEDED

• Sharp sand
• Water
• Cement
• Molding machine
• Plank
• Shovel
• Sharp granite (optional)

MAKING PROCESSES

Note: The granite is optional because the brick will still be perfect without it, but to have a very solid brick that will make your house firm, then you can hard granite, though it's more costly.

• So in making the brick, the first thing to do is mixing of cement with the sands, after which we can then hard few water gradually as it's being mixed.

• After the cement has been perfectly mixed with the sand and some water, then you can start the molding machine, and someone (operator) will control the machine by, first putting a straight plank under the mold, then pouring the mixture into the open part of the machine, and adjusting the machine for it to solidify.

• Then the carrier can then lift out the molded brick and take it to a plain ground where sun will shine on it till it become dry and solid.

Thats about all the process of making these bricks, and taking about man power needed, in this very one here, only 3 people were working here to make the brick, and they are;

• The mixer
• The operator
• The carrier

But normally to ease the stress on each staff, we can have 2 mixer, one operator and 2 carrier.
