The Leo Power Up day is here again, and I'm excited to come on board and participate in this amazing initiative by the INLEO and Hivebuzz teams. I see power up as an opportunity to increase our asset stake on the hive blockchain, and regardless of which token it's, the importance and benefits of staking a token and its holders can never be overemphasized, so with that in mind, come along as I share my power up journey with you.
This month's Leo Power Up Day was even more inspired and encouraged by the ongoing Zealy campaign that's aimed at mass adoption of long-term users and investors from the web space to join the hive blockchain. In a nutshell, the campaign is all about hive marketing, and one of the quests was to participate in the lpud activities that give us a badge on hivebuzz and also grant us the ability to earn more curation rewards.
For this month of October, I powered up a whopping 150 Leo tokens, and that's after I forgot to participate in the last month segment of the power-up day. Although I did participate in the earlier month with just a token of 50 Leos, this month after powering up, I now have a total of 371 Leo stakes, and I'm pushing to accumulate more as time goes on.
Some of the key reasons why I'm powering up Leo are stated below.
- To increase my Leo holding, as Leo is one of the fastest-growing communities on the hive blockchain with a tribe token called Leo with an enormous usercase and other prospects for it from the new Inleo rebranding mission, it's best to have it now rather than later.
- To earn more Leo time curation rewards, like we all know, having a token stake, grant us the possibility of earning curation rewards each time we upvote other users who use the Leofinance or Inleo tag, so in order to position myself to earn more, it's better if I stake more.
- To make me more worthy of curation, I once read that one of the criteria for curation in Inleo is determined by the amount of Leo token you've staked in your account, and that helps the community team know how many times you can be curated per week and the like, so to make me more legible, I'm going to keep staking more Leo.
- To support others, another way we use the Leo token is by helping others earn it. When you have some Leo stakes in your account, other users who'll get some Leo during payout if their posts of you or other hold token holders vote for them.
- Acquire a hivebuzz badge. Yes, the hivebuzz team issues badges to everyone who participated in the Leo power-up day, most especially when the minimum you power up is 150 Leo tokens, so in order to have more badges, I'll be participating often.

Those and others are the reasons why I've made it a point of duty to participate in this initiative consistently.

That's about all for now on my Leo power-up day journey. I hope you enjoyed the read and that you feel inspired to participate as well. Thanks so much for your time. Have a wonderful day ahead.
