It's will be recall that the Nigerian government placed a suspension on twitter in June 2021, few days after president Buhari tweet was deleted from Twitter, and the government accusing Twitter of backing Kalu campaign for the Biafra breakout.

But after several meetings with Twitter representative and the Nigerian government, the minister of information Kai Mohammed said in November 2021 that the correspondence between Twitter and Nigeria had reached an advanced stage.

One of the few demands the government issued, was that Twitter build a physical office in Nigeria to aid employment, another is that Twitter pay that like other organizations does, since the are making profit from the nation.

The new development was made known by Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi who happen to be the Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement and Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA),which I stated that the president as given him the go ahead to fit the allege ban on Twitter.

This is a good news for me personally and I believe it's so for most Nigerians who have venture I to use of VPN to connect with Twitter for the past six months.

Thanks for checking out my post, I look forward to being more engaging on the community now that the ban as been lifted, have a great day
