My walk experience today revolves around my experience along the street of Lagos, ever since I left Lagos in 2018, there as been a huge difference in terms of infrastructure and development of the places I use to know compare to how it was four years ago, and oblivious the community is gradually leaving the trenches tag.
An example is the building above, it was under construction before I left then, but now it's looking elegant and is now in use as an officer space for an organisation, though I was unable to ascertain the name of the organisation.
Moving forward, I pass passed beside a Mikano vehicle assembling factory, they also have some exhibition of their products within the premises of the factory which I can see while standing outside the fence, but I don't want to draw nearer for pictures, to avoid unnecessary attention from the security guard and staff, my country is known for high rate of insecurity, so people tend to be suspicious of unwarranted movement around their properties.
Proceeding with my walk around the neighborhood, I had the mindset of buying snacks in a restaurant, because I was kind of famished, so I followed the direction given to me by my friend, and pass in front of a microfinance Bank just like he described it, after which I saw the restaurant, but all the tables inside as been booked, and the amount of cars parked outside speak volumes amount of people inside the restaurant, so I decided to check somewhere else or just be patience till I get home.
And here is a beautiful residential estate that's still under construction, though it looks like it ready for people to move in, but I learn there are still some petty work left to be done, and like you can see in the second image, there are still construction iron attached to the building.
The last set of pictures I took before heading back home captures, the place where the gutters (drainage system) of the street is under construction, and you can see sands, granite, iron and other materials needed for the construction, so as to avoid erosion in the community.
Thanks to @tattoodjay for the Beautiful Community #Wednesdaywalk, that as given us the privilege to see the outside world via other people's walk experience in their neighborhood.
Thanks for checking out my blog post, I hope you've had a great view?, have a pleasant night rest.
