My opinion on holiday/summer lesson

We are getting to the final weeks of holiday for school students, that mean a new section is around the corner, but today I'll love to say my opinion on the holiday lessons organised by most schools during the holiday period, so before I dive into my opinion, is it idea to let out kids partake in holiday lessons after a tedious school section?

First an foremost, as well all know, when we take about holiday, that mean we are refering to a period of break, rest and recreation, that help us get our mind off the usual activities we're accustom to, and as well aid the possibility of coming back stronger with a refresh mind for the new section after the holidays.

But unlike the word holiday state, most schools now organise a coaching period during these period, with the aim and objective that it's meant to keep the mind of the kids intact in line of their academic during these period, but unlike our the objective state, I personally felt this is just an avenue the schools authority create just to loot more money from the parent, and on the other hand, an avenue for parent to push their kids out, so as not to get disturb during these period.

Holiday is meant to be a time to connect with our love one's, Children inclusive, and while we've been so busy to have enough time for them during the normal school section, I believe the holiday period ought to be a time when we get to bond with our kids, and in the process create concrete parents and child relationship, that help us understand our kids, know what they're passing through and the likes.

Of a truth, keeping the mind of our kids in check as regarding their academic is highly essential, but I felt these should be best done by we the parent, and not throw the kids out again for someone else to grown totally, we've got a role to play in the life of our kids that goes beyond just feeding them and paying their bills.

Adopting some home educative games like monopoly, snake and ladders and the likes will go a long way in keep the kids mind intact, and their are some traditional games unique to different people that will also be of help to our kids, and in the process of playing such games, two or more thing will be achieved, which could include;

• concrete parents and kids relationship
• Keeping the mind of the kids in check morally and academically
• possibility of kids opening up to their parents to make aware of what they're passing through.

Teachers are definitely trying, but the importance of home schooling can never be overemphasized, and it's my prayer that we'll not all grown a child that's a total stranger to us, despite being the parent and living under the same root.

Kids tend to open up to whoever create time for them and make them feel important, and when you as the parents can't do that, then you shouldn't be surprised if your kid shy away from your present or don't confide in so for any of their problems than the basic need you usually meet.
