The past year has been an eye-opener for me in several ways, all thanks to the hive blockchain. I learned loads of lessons and was able to achieve my goals. Along the way, despite being an introvert, I finally came out of my shell to face the camera and sang, which was an outcry that never actualized for years. With that new-found confidence, I've decided to dive into something more exciting this new year, and today I'll love to tell you all about it.
If you read the short description on my profile, followed some of my posts about my life, or better yet, read my introduction post, then you'll know I've talked about being an actor, although not as a professional, but I'm into acting short dramas in my church. Aside from acting, I also write scripts for this drama, and it's one of the few ways I've got to really face the crowd without being shy like I would have been in normal circumstances. But ever since I did one music video as an entrance to Hive Learners Creative Sunday, I've found the confidence I needed to face the camera and display my talent to the Hive Blockchain, although this might take a while to perfect given the fact that it's the first time I've acted in front of a camera in years. If you've been wondering what it's I actually want to do or achieve or my resolution for this year on the hive blockchain, aside from my hive financial goals I wrote yesterday, another thing I want to do is showcase my talent by acting in a one-man drama, capturing it, and going forward uploading it as an entrance to the hive learners creative Sunday initiative, comedy open mic community, and also using it to share value life and moral lessons. It's mostly going to be a one-man drama because I stany alone. Well, on a few occasions, if I'm opportune to have a visitor or see friends willing to feature in my short playlet, I seriously can't guarantee the possibility of having others cast apart from me in my drama, so it's mostly going to be a one-man drama, and who knows, on some days I can get my students at work to feature in my drama, or better yet, write a script for them to act while I record and share.
This isn't going to be an easy task at all, and I might need to get some tools to make the recording good enough and worthwhile. As I stany alone, I might need a camera stand to hold the phone while I act out some scenes, and I might as well need a ring light to enhance the lighting to make what I'm doing more visible and top-notch. As those might require some funds to get, I won't let it delay my ambition if I do this, so for a start, I'll just act with the little resources I've got, do some editing, and hopefully it'll make sense and I'll get positive feedback from you guys on the hive blockchain. But I won't want to discourage myself; regardless of the feedback, I'll try to continue, and hopefully one day I'll improve in it. The only feedback I'll be taking seriously is suggestions, advice, and encouragement, not the ones that make me feel horrible about what I do. We need to stay blind to negative criticism if we really want to grow. For now, I'll start working on my scripts. Writing as many story lines as possible is the way to go. For those who are into script writing, you'll know it's not easy to come up with a top-notch one-man drama storyline. I'll need to do loads of editing to find an alternative that won't make the other characters of the drama appear, except I'll have to multitask and act as multiple characters myself.
Let's see how that'll turn out. That's about all on my Hive new-year resolutions for 2024. I hope it turns out well, and I look forward to your support and encouragement when it finally materializes. Thanks so much for your time. Have a wonderful day ahead.
