MY LETTER TO SANTA || REGARDING MY DESIRED GIFT

Simply entering December signals the approaching holiday season, and when that thought occurs, one of the most prevalent customs in this time of year is the practice of giving gifts to one another. I can state with certainty that everyone has and always will appreciate receiving gifts because giving has been a fantastic deed that, regardless of how big or small the gift is, truly makes one feel proud and overwhelmed by it.

This article was inspired by the @ladiesofhive gifting contest, which I came across while exploring Hive. I felt inspired to write about the topic, but as I was trying to write down my ideal gift, I realized I had previously written about a related subject, though it had only been sent into @dlmmqb DM on Discord during one of the related contests he organized. Rather than start afresh, I decided to pick up the letter I wrote to Santa six months previously since it's still my most desired gift.

Given the current state of affairs, I have a number of needs and projects I need to complete that are being postponed or distributed due to a lack of funds. I am confident that receiving a financial gift will significantly contribute to meeting all of these needs and completing all of these incomplete projects. However, when I really think about what I'm looking for right now, money isn't it. So what would that be? Follow me as I share some insight with you.

Dear Santa,     This is my first attempt at writing to you or wishing to get a gift from you since I came into existence. Though I did wish for gifts during my childhood days, they were never aimed at coming from you, but now that I have the privilege to do so, I feel lost and uncertain about what to ask in particular.

This is probably because of how life has caused my mentality to change ever since I realized I might live with this illness forever or that my days are numbered in the land of the living due to my poor state of health.   I don't know if you've got the capacity to give out what I really wished for, because I'm used to seeing you give out only physical and hardy gifts, but I'll still give it a trial, and hopefully my wishes will come true.     All I ever wanted since this illness sprung out was to return to my perfect state of health, so please, dear Santa, I desire that you grant me good health, so my zeal, will to live, dreams, and hopes for a great future and a happy ever after for my life will become a reality.   I've lost the will to dream long ago, which has led me to live each day like it's going to be my last, but with the healing, I know my life will experience a drastic turn around for the better in all ramifications.

You did read that accurately, I assure you. I've been sick for a while, and right now, health is what I want the most. Since I had never been unwell before the unexpected occurred as I was writing my secondary school leaving exams, my strength has been steadily declining. I've made an effort to fight it, but I'm unsure how long that will last, so I'm here praying for a miracle.
