My hobby of chatting acts as a source of income, and here's how

Hobbies are the things we enjoy doing and might not easily get tired of indulging in because of how much we love them. Hobbies would go a long way toward becoming a life source if we could find a way to turn them into an income avenue. I've got a few hobbies, and I can say for a fact that they've gone a long way in helping me earn more income,and today I'll share how with y'all.

One thing I enjoyed doing that went on to become a hobby was chatting. As an introvert, I hardly go out, and the phone is an avenue for me to connect with people and the outside world, so I kind of don't get tired of chatting at all and could spend hours on it daily without getting exhausted.

Prior to joining hive, that hobby was just another activity I indulged in that ate up my time and distracted me from focusing on other activities, although it also had some good aspects like keeping me company, helping me overcome boredom, and being an avenue to meet new people and make friends.

Within those periods, I barely earned anything from chatting and had no financial benefits from it, but when I joined Hive, the story changed. Now, I know you might be wondering how chatting can make me earn on Hive, and it's obviously different from blogging. Well, I'll shed more light on that.

A few months after joining hive, I got to join the discord server of one of the communities on hive, and in that community, I got to learn that the admin of the server usually performs giveaways that cut across different things, one of which was a chat-based giveaway, where the person who chats the most gets to win the admin upvote if the bounty bot picks them and someone with a lower chat level as counted by the mee6 bot.

Since chatting has always been a hobby and an addiction to me, I decided to rethink how I chat, so rather than wasting hours chatting unnecessarily on Facebook and other social media servers, I invested my time in chatting on that server, which has boosted my possibility of winning the chat base giveaway.

And after indulging in that, things didn't go as planned at first because the bot didn't really pick me, but fast forward a few months, and I became lucky with the bot, and each time I'm peered, I usually win because I make sure to chat till I'm number one on the MEE6 chart. While that might be a stressful task for many, it's all fun to me, and I don't find it hard to chat that much at all.

It's been just a few months over a year since you joined the server, and I can tell you without exaggerating that I've earned nothing less than 300 dollars worth of upvotes via winning those chat base giveaways. Though it's never an easy task to get picked by the bot after chatting relentlessly, I never mind whether the bot picks me or not; I'm always more concerned about positioning Myself in the perfect spot whenever the bot picks me.

So as you can see, even though for many, chatting is just a waste of time and not something to indulge in for a long time, for me, it has become another source of income that has helped me earn almost a thousand dollars, and I can't wait to earn more of that subsequently.
