My favorite holiday in a year

During the course of the year, there are loads of holidays that come up, and such grants us the privilege to relax, take time off work, and as well have a good time with our families and loved ones. I, for one, love holidays and always look forward to such occasions. It isn't because I'm lazy, but because I feel like that's the only time I can relax well and bond with my family better. Today I'll be talking about my favorite holiday of the year and why I chose that.

This is a topic I found in the ladies of the hive community, and since I wasn't a lady, I don't really feel comfortable publishing it there, even though I love the topic and would love to share my take on the subject matter. So without further ado, let's dive into which holiday is my favorite and why.     For me, the Christmas period is my favorite holiday among all the holidays we've had in a year, and the reason for this isn't far-fetched, among which the following are some of the reasons:

• An opportunity to meet and bond with family and friends
• An opportunity to reminisce on past events, goals, and objectives and to also vet how far I've come with each one.
• An opportunity to plan ahead for the new year and lay down new goals and ambitions
• An opportunity to make merry, eat, and go on a tour with loved ones
• An opportunity to revisit my stands and faith and to vet if I'm still in line or have deviated from what is expected of me, and if so, that would be an opportunity to get back on track.

The Christmas period overall is an enjoyable period of the year that is mostly significant to Christmas, but almost everyone has something to celebrate at that very period because it's the end of the year and everyone is excited to be alive and in good health and wellness and would do one or two things to celebrate with those around them.   I am an introvert and usually spend most of the other holidays alone, except on a few occasions where something warrants me visiting a relative. The Christmas period is only a time of the year where I get to go out, commune more with others, and enjoy life to the fullest in my own capacity, so that's why Christmas is my favorite holiday.   I hope you enjoyed the read.
