My Experience with an angry Client

I hope you're all doing well this blessed tuesday, and as well had a great day, today I'll like to share my experience with an angry clients, what lead to his reaction and the consequence it leads to. IMG_20220514_164222.jpg

So the man can to my store alongside his son with the bad Slippers in the image below, he said he love how the Slippers was design and the sole underneath it, and said I should made another upper that looks just like the one on it before, but that I should still use the former outsole.

Of which I tried to convince him that, the sole is also bad, and should be change as well, but since he refuse, I oblige to him wishes, so he left and ask his son to wait for him while he step out to buy somethings.

So while working in the his Footwear, I had a call that took me out of the store, so I guess while I was away, my Apprentice and the man son, where engage in a conversation that lead to him saying/abusing the way his father use the Slippers to this bad state.

I never knew anything about their discussion, because when I came back to the store, I started working on the Slippers again, but immediately the man came back, his son reported what my apprentice said about him, and this got him really angry.

I tried to apologize and let him know I wasn't aware of the conversation or when it occurs, I even scold my apprentice in his present, but he as made up his mind no matter how much I pleaded with him.

The annoying parts is that he angry park his footwear and every part I've worked on, without allowing me to complete the project, I wanted to return his money since he didn't want me to work on his footwear, but he angrily left without it.

This is a bad image for my business, because he said he would encourage any of his friend to do business with me, well I've done my part by apologizing, and I also sent some of his friends to apologise on my behalf and I hope he'll have a change of heart.

And for the apprentice that cause the whole issue, I was short of words as per what to do with him, so I just send him home and took him not to come back to the store except he comes along with his father.

At least he'll speak some senses into him, and as well train him in what ought to be said in public or not. IMG_20220514_161347.jpg

It's very painful, because I was already planning on sharing the diy of how I transform the footwear from that poor state to a more desirable state, well that's gone for now, I look forward to better days ahead. IMG_20220514_161453.jpg
