Everyone one of us has one big dream or desire of things that we'd love to get, acquire, or attain but unfortunately couldn't get due to the fact that they're too expensive for us to afford at the moment. Just like everyone else, I've got almost an unending list of things I'd love to get but am unable to due to the fact that I'm not capable of doing that at the moment. I'll be sharing some of them with you, and I hope you'll enjoy the read.
Firstly, one of my biggest desires was to build a house of my own and stay in it at an early age. This desire was right on track for several years because I already purchased land and was erecting a structure on it. Unfortunately, my junior brother fell and needed to go through a series of operations in order to get him back to a perfect state of heart.
And after draining all of my entire savings on his medical bills but still having more to pay, I decided to sell the land I was already building on. And that was how I had to start dreaming of attaining that height again now that my brother is healed. Unfortunately, landed property has been something else in this present age. It's so painful knowing that a land I once purchased for 500 thousand naira was sold for 700 thousand naira. Is no longer less than two millionaires.
It's presently on my agenda, and I've already started saving up to purchase the land in the near future. Although I don't have such a huge amount of money at the moment, I'm presently contributing a percentage of my monthly salary into a cooperative, and according to my findings, if I'm able to save at least two-thirds of the two million naira I needed, the cooperative will loan me the money and also grant me the privilege of paying it back within 8 to 10 months after the loan.
My aim is to save at least a million naira from my offline earnings, and once I can do that, then I'll apply for the loan, which has 10 percent interest on it. In order not to just leave the land after purchasing, I'd also love to at least purchase bricks and cement and begin the pecking and foundation. This requires lots of money and time, but by God's grace, I'll make it a reality.
Another such desire I have is the need to have a laptop. As someone who deals with blogging on the blockchain, I've been using my mobile over the years, and believe me, It isn't easy. Aside from not being easy, I believe the laptop will grant me the opportunity to dive into other streams of income such as blockchain gaming, copywriting, and the like, but as much as these desires are, purchasing a laptop of the specifications I'll love to get is far beyond my league at the moment. I've made inquiries with my brother and friend @moremoney28, who's an engineer and a PC dealer, and I've been able to ascertain how much I'll need to get that laptop. Even though one of my biggest desires would have been to have a laptop by next month, when I'll be celebrating my birthday, I know it isn't that feasible unless someone gifted it to me or I was fortunate to hit some luck with an investment.
Well, it's still on my agenda, and the plan is to send at least 5000 naira to Moremoney each time I've some money to spare, and I'm hoping that will continue for a long time and before I know it. Those continuous 5,000 naira I'll be sending him will become worthwhile subsequently and complete what I needed to purchase the laptops.
I also have an expensive heart desire that seems impossible, and that as to do with my health, I'm having serious health issues that I would love to get ripped off, but all I can do, according to doctors, is use my drugs, eat lots of fruit, and stay away from any pain killer drugs. Nothing is impossible, but I guess I'll just have to leave it, and hopefully everything will go back to normal pretty soon.
