There are different reasons we all decide to snap pictures or go for a photoshoot, but I think the major reason is because we want the photo to serve as a memory for another day, when we pick them up in the nearest future, the memories and happenings that revolves around those moment will start flooding our mind.

There are various reasons people snap pictures, and it could be using it to explore our creativity, to using it as an evidence or proof of ownership, for some it's their profession and source of income.
Some days ago, during my junior brother birthday, i was going through the family photo gallery, and I was amazed how much we've grown and how fast it seems to take place, for instance I can still vividly remember the day the picture below was taken, Though I was young then, but I know we weren't as rich as those around our neighborhood, an example is the biscuits we used as an improvisation for cake to mark his 5th birthday then.
While this checking the photos, I can across this photo Below, If cloth were able to talk, am sure the cloth I was putting on in this picture would have sue me to court for the amount of years I wear it ☺️, the pictures also reminded me of the stage we were then in live, we live in a rented apartment and non of we the children as gone beyond Jss 2(junior secondary school) then, but now we've all graduated from the university and as moved to our own apartment.
And here is a photo of the boy being carried by mom in the above photo, now griming with smile alongside the his brother as they both lift trophies.
While growing up I wasn't a fan of photography, probably because I was ashamed of the cloth I wore, because am shy/introvert, and this as lead me into skipping many family photos and other important aspect that ought to be capture like graduation etc.... But now that am grown up I wish I could turn back the hands of time and make amend. A wise man once said:
Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose". - Lyndon B. Johnson.
present day birthday celebration with the boy, you can see his now a fine young man.
So I've made a U-turn on my stand towards taking pictures and hope to capture and documents every single moment onward.
And all thanks to hive, I get motivated to snap and capture most of my daily activities, with the hope of sharing them here.
I'll love to here from you in the comments section:
