It's good to be here again in the Market Friday community to share my market experience in this out going week, and I must say @dswigle is doing a superb job here in the community, because through her initiative, we're now privileged to enjoy mind-blowing views and catch a glimpse of people's market experience around the globe on the hive blockchain.
Earlier this week, one of my friends was having constant tooth problem alongside other illness and it's becoming a tiring thing to watch him be fine for a week and down the following one, then after several examination and questioning, the doctor realize one of the reasons why his illness was reoccurring was because he has been using the same toothbrush for more than 6 month and that as played a role in passing the fluid he has been treating over and over again.
After hearing this and seeing the impact it had on my friend, I decided to pay a visit to the market close to me to purchase a new toothbrush for myself and above is a picture of several collection of the options of toothbrush I had to choose from and below is the one I finally went for, while the white and red one was the former one I was using.
The toothbrush cost just ₦400 which was kind of double the amount I brought the previous one I was using, but then I know the situation of the country, another issue was how to market payment since I had no cash on me, the seller doesn't have a point of sales (pos) machine and I had no choice than to patronise her fellow marketer who's selling pepper since that one has pos machine.
I had to purchase some tomatoes, bell pepper and onion of ₦500 so it can be even with the ₦400 toothbrush I purchased to add up my purchase to ₦900, another thing is that I had to pay a charges fee of ₦100 to the pos machine owner because she insisted bank will charge her for the transaction, that's sums up all payments with my card to ₦1,000.
After the payment was made, but women agrees they'll find a way of settling each other with their various funds and then I left for the house, hopefully I won't have to experience what my friend went through due to the fact that he kept using same toothbrush for more than 6 months.
That's about all on my experience at the market, shared in the #MarketFriday community, I hope you enjoyed the read, have a blessed and productive day ahead.
