Somedays ago I wrote about how in my bid to sort for a new stream of income due to the high inflation rate, lead me to embark on a feasibility studies in which business to venture into, and then I noticed the hike in prices of gas and electricity tarrif which a the major means Nigerian cook with, so in my quest to get an alternative to cooking gas and electric stove, I venture into the charcoal business.
I started my Charcoal business with just 2bags of Charcoal , which cost 1500($1½) each and after all expenses that cost 3700($9), i sold at at 5100($12.37), that's an interesting of 1400($3.40). And I use all my income plus some extra cash to purchase 5bags.
Which I was fortunate to be able to sale all, and still invest all the income in purchasing more and more Charcoal and get more income because people now tend to prefer the Charcoal as a means of cooking, as it's also fast, Though it do stain the pot. But it's worth it compare to the cooking gas and electric stove whose price are on the rise daily.
And today I'm proudly a wholesaler of Charcoal with over 20bags, as most people now patronises me to purchase bags of Charcoal to start their own business as a retailer.
