How I wish the holiday continues, as I've not seems to get enough of the time spent with my family and friends during the course of the holiday, and neither do I feel like I've got enough rest.
But as it's stated in the Bible that "He who doesn't work do not deserve to eat" according to 2 Thessalonians 3:10, it's also commonly said here that "no food for a lazy man". And that's true, even those who have set up investment in different fields like crypto, real estate and co have at one point or another put in enough effort, before they can now sit back to eat the fruit of their labour (as their investment bring in more income).
So in that spirit I dashed out to the market to buy some food stuffs and other necessities I might be needing once I resume back to work, I'm a teacher and my place of work is located in the outskirt of Ilorin, in the a rural village that's far from civilization, where you have to spend about 2hours driving just to locate the nearest big ultilty store.
So to avoid that, before traveling to the village, I visited the neighboring stores around me, to buy some food stuffs and snacks like biscuits and co, as a man, I don't really like cooking, but in as much as I'm still single I've got no choice, and whenever I'm not in the mood to cook, I end up eating different snacks and biscuits as breakfast or dinner.
I hope you won't be wondering why I ommited lunch from my eating routine!, Well if you're, it's not far fetch, with the situation of the country inflation and hike in price, not everyone can afford 3 square meal again, though I can easily afford it, but I prefer to use the money for other stuffs.
My walk around the neighborhood to purchase the items I needed was direct and straight forward as am not in company of my mom this time around, neither did I have time in deliberating or negotiating the Price of each item.
Appreciation to @dswigle for setting up a lovely community as this which enables us learn and understand the way of life and culture of other people around the world.
Thanks for stopping by my blog post, have a blessed day ahead and stay safe.
