Hello everyone, I hope these meet you well, it's a beautiful Sunday morning and I'll love to take you through my maize farm and how weeded out the unwanted plant surrounding the maize.
It's most common that weekend are the only days I have enough time to visit the farm and as well work on it, due to my weekdays schedule that hinders me from working here during weekdays.
So yesterday Saturday, while at the maize farm, I decided to do some weeding of the surrounding of the maize, so the maize can have the resources and nutrients of the soil to itself.
Though I had to be mindful of how I uproot the weed because the last time I visit the farm, I planted some vegetables around the maize, there are also tomato 🍅 planted around it, so I had to be careful not to uproot the wrong plants.
The maize is yet to shoot out uptill now, but as you can see from the pictures above, that maize seems to have reach it full length and is as tall as I'm.
Everything is going fine aside the Weeding I engage on, there as been consistent rainfall in the past 3 days, so there is no need of watering the maize or the other plants I've in the garden.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog post, this post is in participation with the maize Challenge instituted by @felixxx and you can as well join the Challenge by planting and sharing your maize planting process.
