Hello everyone, it's a beautiful morning, as as the weather seems cool, I deserved to pay a visit to my maize farm and as well share an update on the Post-Planting occurrence I noticed at the farmland in the past few days.
Like I said in my last report on the maize farm, the farmland is still under the attack of rodent, as I wake-up every morning to a sight of some maize steam they've pull down over the night.
Their disturbance on the farm land is getting out of hands, and despite the fact that I set up trap of poison food which seems to kill some of them, more still keep truping in and pulling down more steam on a daily basis.
I'm really open to any advice that will help me chase them farm away from my farmland, as I'm now short of ideas, and it's so painful because I don't experience such at my maize farmland located in a far village from where I stay.
Though while observing the farm, I realize the rodent only attack the maize and seems to careless about the cassava and vegetables are planted beside the maize in a companion farming i engage on in the farmland.
Though I've had the mindset that I'll plant more maize once school resumes and I get to visit my Farmland at the village where I teach, so after I recovery from the illness that held me down throughout last week, I visit the school this week and after the school activities on Tuesday, I went to the community farmland given to we the teachers, I choose these parts of the forest for my maize planting.
The place is very spacious and I can use as much as I like, Though I'll need to employ some people for the cutting of grass and cultivation of the land.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog post, greetings to @felixxx for the privilege, have a wonderful day ahead.
