A warm welcome to my blog, I hope these meet you well and in good health!, today I'll love to share some reports of what plays out on my maize farm since the last time I shared about it here.
I was overly worried about the absence of rain for the past few days, and was planning to fetch some water from the well once the sun 🌞 goes down a little, and before I knew it, the weather change, Which was significantly visibility with the cloud and the pace of the wind.
With that I was at peace that's finally going to rain, and not too long after that, it started raining heavily beyond how I felt it would, so I went to the backyard, to monitor the maize field, hoping the rain wouldn't go beyond just drenching the soil.
Though I couldn't get into the rain to pace a channel where the rainwater can flow through outside the farm due to my health, but I had the mind set that if it get beyond the level of the ridge, then I'll have no choice but to set into the rain so as to save my crop from being flood away.
Lucky for me, thank God I made the ridges high above the ground, else the rain would have overflow on the maize and other crop I've on the ridge.
So immediately it stop raining, I step into the garden and created a small opening beneath the fence and channel the rainwater to flow out through it.
Thanks so much for staying with me thus far, if you're interested in joining the maize Challenge by @felixxx all you have to do is go through his post to understand the rules and guidelines to follow.
