After the preparing of my farm land for the planting of maize as shown in my first post for the Challenge, rain fell that same night, and I decided the next day will be the perfect time to cultivate the land by working on the Seed bed preparation and also adding organic manures before proceeding to the planting proper.
Since it rained, that mean the soil will be more easy to cultivate, and I took advantage of that by preparing the seed bed, which was done with the a hoe manually, since I farmland is too small to use a tractor on, and beside that I can't even afford one if it could contain it.

After the cultivation, I have about five long seed bed and about eight short seed bed by the left, this I did just to occur all the space and not letting let any piece of the land go to waste.
After the cultivation, I mix the organic manures from chicken waste I got from a poultry nearby with some water, and spread it on all the seed bed and as the boast the fertility of the farmland for better and bountiful harvest.

TOOLS
The major activities to achieve this were all down to manpower as done by me and by brother.
- HOE: Aside manpower and effort the tool use for the cultivation is an hoe will I use the digging the farm land to form the ridge/seed bed.
Bucket/water: Also Also use a buckets to carry the organic chicken waste and mix with water before spreading it on the farm land.
