Good day everyone on the hive blockchain, I hope you're all doing exceedingly well in all your endeavours, today I'll love to take you through my maize farm, update you on the happenings and my plan for the new farmland.
So today being Saturday, means I get to have some free time to visit my backyard garden where my farm and other crops were planted, Saturday and Sunday are mostly my free days where I get to have free time of work activities and pay more attention to the farm, so here are my observation from my visit to the maize farm today.
Going to the farm I realize the maize steam is almost as tall as I'm, and am pretty tall, that mean I should be expecting the actual maize to show forth anytime soon, but pending that time, I also took note that not all of the maize were growing at the same pace, while some are almost as tall as I'm, so are not even upto my knee level.
Well I guess those are due to the pest that attack most of them, it's good to see that no rodent is disturbing the growth of the maize again, and neither were the goat about to break in through the fence again, like they did some weeks ago.
Aside that, everything seems to be going fine on the farm land, other crops are also in good shape, Though I think I'll need to come back to the farmland tomorrow after church, to do some weeding and clearing of unwanted plants on the farm land.
After the new farmland location I spoke about in my last post, I made enquiry from my fellow teachers in the school on the necessary items I'll be needing for a decent plantation that will aid the growth of my plants there, I also compile the estimation of the amount I'll be needing to pay those who'll help me weed the farm, because it's to big for me to do alone.
Below is my visit to my friend farmland, where he want to plants his maize, I was their to observe the boys he paid to help him weed his farm land, with the hope that if they did a great job, then I'll employ them to do the same on mine as well.
