It's been a very stressful day, cause today being the last day of the year, I embark on a journey from Kwara state to Lagos state Nigeria, with the aim of celebrating the new year alongside my extended family.
Though the major reason of traveling to lagos is to attend a proposed reunion organized by my colleague in university then, but then It's been about 1 year and 4month since I last saw most of my extended relative so I'll be stopping by to celebrate and catch up all old time memory before proceeding to the reunion venue.
Traveling around Nigeria generally this days is scary and dangerous due to bad road, kidnappers and armed robbers who usually position themselves along the road, and will end up killing people or demanding ransom from love one's if kidnap.
But all glory to God, our journey went smoothly, except for some gridlock that delay us and of cause police who extort money from driver's.
Well thank God, we arrived safely at our destination, and I was warmly welcome by my family, so As we are stepping into the new year, I hope and pray we all achieve all our lay down goals for 2022.
