It's good to here again, I hope these meet you in good health and mood, today I'll love to take you through the process I took in refinishing this Pam Slippers for a client's some days ago.
I was at my store the the man came in and requested that I help him work on his Pam Slippers, stating that the leather of the upper is still good but other parts are very bad, so after discussing and agreeing on the price for workmanship and the amount I'll need to purchase the necessary materials, I set out by purchasing the materials, which includes a rubber sole, linning and Marco material for the insole.
REFINISHING PROCESS ES
- After purchasing the materials, the first thing I did is to detached all the part of the Pam Slippers.
- The next step is the construction of the insole since the former is very bad, so I cut out Marco material and the lining and then rub gum on each of them and attached it together.
- After which I create an opening in the front part of the insole, where the part of the upper will go through to through
-
Then I rub gum on the back of the insole and the edges of the upper and attached it together.
-
Finally I did rib gum on the insole and Sole and then join it together, I also did a finishing touch by applying a super glue on some edges and polished it.
- And here is how it looks after I got through with the Pam Slippers.
