HELLO HIVE
Today I'll love to share with you in details, how I made this elegant interwoven male leather half Sandals for a client some days ago, and despite not having an buckle design attached to it to enhance it beauty, it still looks gorgeous, and the client and other passer's by attest to it by admiring it, and also placed an order that I should make something like it, but with another Colour.
PROCESS
- Once I was able to get the foot size of the clients, I set out by cutting the linning, insole and upper of the sandals.
- The sole I use for this Sandals is a ready-made one I brought from the market, but then I had to cut the insole and it linning out.
-
Here I'm rubbing gum on the linning and the insole, before joining both together, for a perfect fitting.
-
After which I started joining the upper of the Sandals together, and then test it with a shoe last, to ascertain if it's of the right size and shape.
-
After the attachment of the linning and the insole, I grinded the sole inner part and the edges with grinder, and then apply gum on it for the final phrase of the sandal making, which is to join both the insole, sole and sandal upper together.
-
Here is how our Interwoven male half Sandals looks before I the owner came to pick it up.
