Some days ago I wrote about the gift I gave my friend Monica who onboarded me on hive and I promise to share the do it yourself process of how I made the footwear, which I shared here, so today is the day I'll be taking you through the full process of the making.
Aside the bow design another thing that attract most women to wears are the colour, and here I made this particular footwear as seen above with a nude colour which is loved by most women.

MAKING PROCESS
-
The size of this particular slippers is 38, so you have to make sure your know the foot size of the person you're making the footwear's for.
-
To cut and design the upper of the slippers, I first cut the pattern on a paper so as to get the size that will form perfectly and still reach both edges of the insole, so once that was achieved, I place the paper pattern on the leather material I want to use and then cut it out, then I notch the edges, apply gum and fold it.

- Still in the making of the bow design, I apply gum on the linning material, and then placed the leather upper on it so as to cut out the same shape, then I sew it together on a sewing machine, also I applied gum and fold the straight line leather I'll be using to Marge the bow. After which I folded the upper and tight the notch around it to form the bowl shape.

- After getting through with the bowl upper design, I started building the insole, first I cut out the Marco, fiber, nora and fiber Material into the shape of the slippers, then I apply gum on both edge and attached it together, and place it inside the lining material and wrap it around the joined fiber and Nora.

- Then I start building the sole, by first cutting the Marco and the heel if the slipper, I applied gum on it and then attached them together.

- Once that was completed, I apply gum on the edges of the sole, and attached the shoe wet all around the edge of the sole, so it could fit properly and also house the insole well.

- To attach the upper bow design with the insole, I first grind the edge of the upper and the inner part of the insole, after which I punch a hole in the front part of the insole, and put the rope of the upper through it.

- Finally I applied gum on the back of the insole, and join it together firmly with the upper, and then applied gum on the back of the sole and insole, let it dry up for about a minute and join it together.
