How curiosity facilitate my growth on Hive?

Curiousity, which is more or less an act of wanting to know more about something or how and why it's the way it is, is an act many indulge in, and the end results can either be positive or negative. Just like the popular saying goes, curiousity kills the cat, but in my case today I'll be sharing a story of how my curiosity about someone else's account here on Hive led me to a place where I got to meet the set of people who made my Hive experience much smoother.

Right from the first day I joined Hive,I've always been curious about many things and always wished to know why things were the way they were, and I guess one of such things led me to join the newbies initiative so I could equip myself with the basic knowledge that will help my growth on the Hive blockchain.

During my time in the initiative, I got to meet a lot of people, most especially newbies like me, and I got to become friends with some of them. Something significant happened during the program that got me curious and made me start trailing one of my fellow newbies, with whom we were in the initiative together.

Well, it happened that Queenstarr, one of my fellow newbies in the initiative, wasn't really serious with most of the tasks and even had to leave the program at a time, but despite all these, I usually visit her blog and realized she used to get massive support via upvotes on most of her content. That made me curious to the point where I began to follow her and wonder what she's doing, especially to get that support, I know it's not ideal to beg for an upvote, but then I was curious to follow her path so I could attract what she's attracting as well.

After much observation, I began to make progress when I realized she's getting SPL account upvotes because she plays SPL, but then I wasn't seeing any traces of how she got Neoxian upvotes. I went to the community but didn't see any real activities, and this got me confused. But then, on a particular day, I decided to just publish a post there and see what happened. A few minutes after publishing my first post in the community, the city paper was published, and after reading it, I got a link to join their metric server, and that was how my curiosity led me into the city of Neoxian element channel.

And that's how I got to meet the group of people who taught me extensively about Hive. I met many people I usually come across once in a while on Hive, including Queenstarr, and before I knew it, the matrix space became my second home, where I learned, shared my experience, learned from other people's experiences, and also got support.

Looking back now, I can't help but thank myself for being so curious about Trail Queen back then. Had I not done that, the rate at which I grow and thrive on the Hive blockchain might not have been as fast as it was, because aside from the knowledge and support, I also get valuable investment advice that has brought me massive interest.

That's about all on my curiosity experience, how it favors me, and how hive growth works. This write-up was inspired by the Hive Learners Community Features prompt.

Thanks for your time, stay bless.
