GIVE YOURSELF THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT

A lot of people wish to attain a particular status, such as wealth, a reputable position, or something else, but one of the core reasons why this seems to be an impossible task for them is because even before they arrived at the end of such situations, many already accommodated doubt and uncertainty within them. The truth is that the chances of attaining a spot you can't see yourself in are very slim.

To achieve your goals, you shouldn't accommodate doubt, trust, and believe in yourself that you can do it. If others can, there is no reason why you shouldn't do the same. You are at the wheel of your own life, and the direction and paths you decide to take determine how far you'll go in the long run. Doubt is like bumps and potholes on the road that force you to slow down and hinder you from arriving at your desired destination on time.

In as much as teachings or some principles are important and could aid the achievement of your dreams, the place of the mindset shouldn't be downplayed, because you always need to be in the right frame of mind for you to effectively implement all financial teachings and principles you've acquired over the years.

The principle that if you can dream it, surely you can achieve it is a typical example of what I'm saying. You have to see yourself on the throne, in that office, controlling those millions, and whatever your aspirations are, what you see yourself achieving within your mind will serve as motivation for your physical self to keep striving and putting in more effort till it becomes a reality.

Lastly, having a positive mindset and believing in yourself that you can achieve your dreams doesn't mean you shouldn't do the basic nitty gritty required for what you're chasing; for instance, if it were to be wealth, there are principles one follows to make that a reality, and if it were to be a position such as politics, there are things to be put in place that go beyond just the mindset aspect. But my message today mainly revolves around the mindset aspect. Hopefully, I'll talk about the other aspect in subsequent articles.
