Watching Comedy is one of the top stress relief mechanisms; it's an act that helps ease nerves and brings about a smiling face on whoever is watching. Comedians down the years have devised a means of captivating their audience and putting a smile on their faces. I'm the kind of person who enjoys watching comedy a lot, and today I'll be talking about my favorite comedian.
As someone who doesn't enjoy watching movies as I used to do earlier, I'm now more into watching comedy, and I can go on to spend hours strolling from one comedian page to another just to put a smile on my face, in order to kill boredom and as well relive the stress of the day. My country, Nigeria, is blessed with a lot of comedians who are good in their respective acts, but I'm engrossed in a few of them, and they are as follows: https://youtu.be/hElANOoN-a4
IamRemote: Remote, or Pastor Remote, is a popular Nigerian comedian who usually speaks Yoruba, although he speaks English and Pigin once in a while, and I have grown so fond of him to the point where I literally can't wait to see any of his latest skirts. He started as a stand-up comedian but evolved into skirt Making via the advertisement of technology and modern ways of earning and as well as gaining an audience.
One of his acts I enjoy is how he usually pretends like a pastor to approach vehicles and share fair prophecy and visions with the occupants of the vehicle with the hope of getting money in return. This usually ends in tragedy, with him cursing those in the vehicle with the common phrase God will punish you.
Some of the notable acts that make him funny in every video are how he shines his eyes; another is how he puts a correct English dictionary in his hand, pretending as though it were a Bible; his suits are somewhat big and old; and he usually wears a bad shoe that is mostly always open in the front parts, not forgetting his ridiculous and funny ways of speaking in tongues.😂😂
This act he usually plays of pretending like a pastor is one that's common here in Nigeria; it's always an annoying experience when you visit the Moto Parks around the country. One of the common things you'll experience is countless beggars approaching you to seek alms; another are the fake pastors who come with the aim of praying for you and seeking alms in the process. I guess that's where he got his inspiration, and I did each series so well and uniquely.
One of his acts I loved the most was when he and Woli Agba, another comedian who usually acts as a pastor, teamed up. He was invited to Woli Agba's church as a guest minister and was pulling show strings that made the church workers love him and even sow seed in him while he preached. This got Woli Agba angry, and he stopped the preaching and decided to preach himself. Apparently no one wanted to listen, so he ended the service and gave Remote a very small envelope as an honor for coming, which resulted in a big fight between them.😂

That's all on my favorite comedian and some of the things that made him stand out and as well made me enjoy all of his videos. The write-up was inspired by the hive learners community prompt.
