We as humans can't do without offending each other as we all have different ways we see and deal with things, so it's normal when someone does things otherwise to hurt our feelings that there's a high tendency of us getting angry, but in order to let peace rain and for we ourselves to have a settled and peaceful mindset, we must learn to forgive one another.
To tell the truth, being let down by people can be hard, especially when it comes from someone we trusted, but regardless of who he or she is, we must learn to forgive. A forgiving heart is a peaceful heart, where you won't have to bother about the offense or the impact it had on you but instead learn from it, forgive, and not fall victim to such again.
To forgive is one thing; another is the ability to forget and get over the issues; although this is usually hard to do, with time you'll get over it. If someone offends you, we can as well forgive and keep our distance from such a person in order not to remember the offense from seeing the person.
Forgiving those who offend us goes way down, and as the capacity to improve our mental health, make our lives much more peaceful and happier, reduce anxiety to a lower level, and help us have a better relationship with everyone around us, in my opinion, unforgiveness is like a bondage that kept us in the utmost pain, desatisfaction, and poor mental health.
Why not forgive all of your offenders now and watch your life change for the better.
