Embracing Comfort and Decency in Effortless Dressing Choices

Dressing is one of the core aspects of fashion that speaks volumes about each individual's life, worth, profession, and the like. The importance of dressing can never be overemphasized; in fact, there's a common saying that we should dress the way we want to be addressed. That's to show how important it is. Although I don't really have much fashion sense when it comes to dressing, I still try to keep it decent.

As someone who isn't really into wearing the latest or most expensive clothes, I'm mostly comfortable in moderate clothes, and if they're decent, then I can wear them. That means I'm not really picky when it comes to dressing. While I'm like that, I can't say the same for some of my friends, because I've come to see them spend several minutes just picking the right clothes to wear.

Dressing for me is mostly about comfortability and decency. To achieve these two, one doesn't need to break the bank, as such can be achieved with a few pennies, but that isn't the focal point of this topic, as what is requested is knowing how much deliberation I go through in choosing clothes for each occasion when dressing up.

For me personally, I don't really spend a lot of time deciding what I'll be wearing for a particular event or work; in fact, I can take my bath without having any clothes in mind, and by the time I'm done bathing, I will most likely be completely dressed up within the next 5 minutes. That's to show my kind of personality when it comes to dressing.

I understand we can't all be the same, as others could spend hours deciding on what clothes to wear, which color goes perfectly with the other, which shoes or sneakers to rock with it, and the like. It's well known that such people can spend hours deciding what to wear, and even after thorough thinking, they'll still have to rethink when dressing again. I guess that's due to their obsession with perfect dressing.

Though I love fashion, I won't want to be like such people because I don't really love a situation where my dressing makes me standout among a gathering, and obviously, dressing perfectionists are always attractive, so in order not to be the talk of a gathering, I'll rather keep it simple, decent, and moderate.

That being said, it means that, in a nutshell, I don't go through any dilemma when it comes to picking my dress or dressing up for any occasion; most times all I have in mind is where I'm going and what is acceptable or would blend in in such places. Once such is confirmed, then picking a dress for that occasion would at most take me 10 minutes, and that's even rarer because I mostly concluded before then.

This is even easier for me to do within that time frame because most of the clothes I have in my cupboard are decent and presentable at the various gatherings I am open to visiting. That being said, my clothes picking is much easier and straight to the point, and I don't need to think of struggle before I can decide on what I'll be going for.

That's about all of my ordeals during dressing, and as you can see, I've had little or no issues with picking my clothes, and neither do I need to spend money to get myself ready when picking clothes. The write-up was inspired by the hive learner community features prompt.
