DIY PROCESS OF MAKING A LEATHER SLIPPERS

Somedays ago one of my clients called me over the phone stating that he needed a new black leather slippers, cause the current ones he as are getting out trend, so I enquired if he has any style him mind, but he said I should just be creative and make him something nice, after critical thinking and sketching, I built this love leather slippers for him, and he so much love it.

So today I'll love to share how I made this lovely Leather slippers.

PROCESS

• Since he's a regular client, I have his leg measurements already.
• After purchasing the leather material, I start by cutting the shoe upper and it linning to my sketch shape.

• I then cut the sole of the slippers.

• After which I proceed linning the shoe upper with the material for linning.

• the next step was joining the shoe upper together.

• After which I process to building the slippers sole, you can check my previous post on how a sole is been built here (Though I some cases I do buy and use ready made sole, base on how much the client agrees to pay).

• The next step consist of joining of our slippers upper to our built sole. Which will then bring us to the end of our leather slippers making.
