One of the very first few thing we tends to notice as human when ever we set our sight on a attractive and well dress individual is their type of shoe, so today I'll like to share with us how to make a half shoe, generally shoe making is a lovely act of crafting, and like I said in my previous post on DIY PROCESS OF MAKING SHOES that my joy always knows no bound whenever I wear stuffs made by me.
Less I bore us with much speech, let dive into the pool of shoe making
HALF SHOE MAKING PROCESS
Step 1: Measuring the size of the foot of your clients.
Step 2: Cutting you leather material and linning to the desired form you wish to mold.
Step 3: Fixing of shoe buckle(Designer Logos).
Step 4: Attaching your shoe upper to the shoe linning by applying gum to the back of your skin leather material.
Step 5: SOLE: in this particular shoe project, I'll be making use of a ready made foreign sole(BRIKENSTOCK) i brought from the market, but if you wish to learn how to build your own sole from scratch check my previous post on to make sole here .
Step 6: Filling out your BRIKENSTOCK with a filling machine to make guming easier.
Step 7: Sewing of your shoe upper together with the linning.
Step 8: Filling the edge of your shoe upper with the aid of the filling machine
Step 9: Linning the insole of your BRIKENSTOCK (by applying gum to your sole and the linning material, which can then be cut into the shape of the sole).
Step 10: Lasting the Upper and insole together to get your desired shoe design.
