Hello Hive
Today I'll be gracing your sight with this gorgeous black and brown leather slippers I made for a client, this is the first time he's patronising me, so I decided to go the extra mile in making sure he's wowed by my work and thereby gain his trust to being a longtime client. (he said I was recommended to him by one of my client who happen to be his friend), so after I present his leather slippers to him, he was so much in love with it and promise to recommend me to his other friends.
So journey with me, as I take you through how I made this ☝️ lovely Leather slippers
PROCESS
-
Step 1: The first step to do every shoe creation is measurement, getting the right measurement make the shoe fit In perfectly to our legs.
-
Step 2: After getting the proper measurement, we'll they start cutting the slipper/shoe upper to our desired style.
- Step 3: Then we'll start joining our shoe upper together and also attach the buckle (which tends to enhance the beauty of the slippers/shoes).
- Step 4: Once the show upper is achieved, the building of the slippers sole is the next step, and like I use to say, we can either buy and fix a ready made sole or construct one from scratch. Click here to read extensively on how soles are being built in my previous post.
to enhance the beauty of the slippers, I cut a brown leather lining, greased it with him and then wrap it around the slippers sole footing.
and here is how it looks like
here is the back view before joining the slippers upper with the sole.
- Step 5: Joining the slippers upper to the built sole is the last step, and here is the outcome of my creation👇🤗.
I'm currently exploring the possibibilities of building and merging a 3D printing with my shoe crafting like @wil.metcalfe stated some days ago, once I get the materials, then you should look forward to seeing those mind-blowing shoe crafting with a 3D printing/painting.
