Top of the morning to you creative minds on the hive blockchain! It's another Monday morning, and I'm super excited to be here to feed my eyes with amazing projects from everyone and as well share one of my just concluded footwear projects, so I'll be taking you through the process of how I made these beautiful summer slippers a few days ago.

This pair of summer slippers was for a customer who wanted something different, classic, and beautiful, and in a bid to meet her needs, I made these. So without further ado, let's dive into the process of making these summer slippers.

MAKING PROCESSES

For this summer slippers, the first step in making it was using the scissors to cut the leather into the various shape for the over of the insole and design of the upper. After that I cut the thorn rope into an accurate length, put it between the leather, then apply gum inside the the earlier cut leather, then wrap the leather around each one.

When I'm done and please with the turnout of that, I took if for sewing on the sewing machine and used a cream colour thread to sew the edge of each strap for upper.

Moving to the outsole after being through with the upper, I cut the maco to the actual shape of the ladies feet, I then use the cut maco to draw a pattern on the leather, cut it, apply gum on it and then wrap it around the maco.

Lastly, the Nora for the insole was cut, with the aid of the super glue I also joined the heel to the Nora and finally attached everything together to have this beauty.
