CREATIVE SUNDAY || STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL ON HOW I MADE THESE BROWN SUEDE LEATHER FOOTWEAR

Having you visit my blog on this gorgeous Sunday morning is such a wonderful privilege. I hope the restorative nature of your weekend was similar. It's time for another episode of the creative Sunday program, and I'll be gracing your screen with a new craft guide for producing shoes that I created a few months ago for an old buddy.

I would have loved to participate in every week's creative Sunday project, but I don't like publishing tutorials that are anything less than excellent, so I wasn't as less busy as I would have liked and I decided not to join the project last time out, Today, I hurriedly rushed to my phone photo gallery in search of one of my old shoemaking DIYs photos to choose which to share with you today, and I quickly decided I'll be using the one I made for an old friend during the naming ceremony of his first child. https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vickoly/23x1abcXk2RqBSvQFCTSyjYUtnF9iuT4h69CRd45vXCLbNJS2b6593xDrPS9a4HbdhNgp.png

*I didn't charge him any money; rather, it was a present and a sign of appreciation as he celebrate the naming of his first kid, Come along as I bring you through the step-by-step instructions on how I manufactured the footwear for him.*

MAKING PROCESSES

  • To make the footwear for him, I first paid a visit to the market to purchase all the above listed items apart from the sewing machine and yarn I already have, so after getting the items I:

  • Cut a paper pattern of these style i want to make for him, and after I got the one I liked, IU placed it on the suede Brown leather and cut out the exact shape.

  • After that, i rub some gum on the back of the just cut brown suede leather and on the black lining, I joined both together, press it with a hammer 🔨, then I cut out saw shape again.

  • The next thing I did, was to take the upper design I just cut to the sewing machine, then I sew around it with a black yarn, after that I punch some holes on specific point on it and attached the buckle to it to make it perfect.

  • Now the . upper design is perfect, but before I joined it to the soles, I first use the filing machine to make all it angles rough for perfect joining, so after it, I rub gum on the rough parts and the polyurethane insole and join both together.

  • The final part of the making is that I apply gum on the back of the polyurethane insole which I joined the design to and the inner parts of the polyurethane outsole, after which I let it dry for some time before I joined both together and use the hammer to hit it for firm sticking together.
