One of the fun ways we humans interact is by saying jokes, playing tricks and pranks on one another, and the like. It's always exciting, regardless of whether you're on the receiving end or the one behind the prank. Although sometimes you feel bad that you were got by such tricks, overall it's exciting, and today I'll love to share some such experiences I've had with you.
Killing two birds with a stone:
It was the first of April in one particular year during my undergraduate days at the university. Someone just played a fast one on me with the April Fool prank, and in return, I decided to play the same trick on those I know care a lot about me and would be so concerned about the lies I'm about to tell them. Well, without further ado, let's look into the April Fool prank. So my childhood friend Deborah, with whom we also stayed together, called me very early in the morning to say that she was involved in a motorcycle accident while on her way back to the university. Because we were on holiday then, the news broke my heart, and I was literally panicking. She said she's in the hospital presently, and out of concern, I quickly took a bike heading towards the Moto Pack so I could check up on her, and after texting her about my movement, she quickly let the cat out of the bag by telling me it's a prank. Lol, I was having multiple emotions together: relived that she's ok, annoyed that she joked with such a situation, and funful for the fact that her prank got me big time. In revenge, I had to pick other prey to do the same to, so I worked on my storyline and chose my target, which was my sister and my girlfriend, both far away from where I was, and I believe that's the best, so they won't be able to come verify the validity of the April Fool prank easily. So I texted both of them that I was bitten by a snake during the night and that I've been at the hospital since, but I just woke up and decided to let them know the situation I'm in. I immediately got a call from both of them, which I'm already prepared for, as I've worked on my voice to sound weak and in pain. After calling and hearing my voice, my girlfriend even mistakenly dropped the plate and cups she was holding at that moment because I heard the sounds of a bottle falling, after which the voice of her mother scolding her followed. I quickly dropped the call so she wouldn't eat me alive for playing the prank that got her scolded by her mother. My sister, on the other hand, after calling and hearing my voice, just petted me, and before I knew it, by the next 2 hours, she had traveled from her school in Ibadan down to my place so she could check up on me and as well help out in any way possible. Upon arriving at my place, she met me outside playing ludo with my friends and was like, What's going on? I told her it was April Fool and that I never expected her to show up; she was angry with me and vowed never to take me seriously again, nor will she travel down to check on me in such a situation again, I begged, but those vows were mere words because she still fell victim to such a situation twice after that particular incident. As for my girlfriend, I didn't tell her it was a prank until after a week, when she was back on the school premises, because I don't have the balls to reveal such to her after realizing what my pranks led to over the phone.
