One of the things that excited me to share this is the fact that the plantains are growing bigger every day, which means harvest is just around the corner.
Plantain is one of the most loved fruit in my country, and almost everyone love to have it in their meal, because it can be processed into different forms and means of food, which includes dodo(fried plantain), plantain chips, when sun dry the flour is always used for swallow meal just like semovita, while some people also mix it with yam when preparing pounded yam.
Aside being processed into this various meal, it can simply be boiled when ripe and eating like that or with stew, palm oil and any sauce, and this is usually enjoyable, because plantain are known for their sweetness.
Aside that, Its loaded with nutrients that as huge health benefits to our body system, and this includes protein, vitamin A and C, and some if it health benefits is that it's more or like a anti aging instrument, and it also boast the immune system.
Presently I've have about 5 plantain tree, though not all of it as fruit yet, and aside the 5 big ones, I've smaller ones growing underneath each of this five, just like those around the one in this Pictures.
Lastly during my visit, I checked up on my Efo Shook commonly know as Lagos Spinach, this is another highly nutritious vegetables, that does the body systems a whole lot of improvement and boast.
