Hello everyone, How are you and how has your day been? Mine has been awesome, and I'm excited about how it went, so with that in mind, I'd love to grace your sight with the view of my surroundings when I took a walk around the street of Ikeja Lagos a few weeks ago when I went to sort out some of my work documentation.
The mindset was to visit at least 2 offices that are apart but aren't far from each other, so when I got to the first office and realized they'd yet to resume, I decided to walk down to the next one in the hope that they would have, and while walking down there, I took these pictures.
As I step out on the road, the streets aren't too loaded, but as I gaze above, I can see some motorists being stopped by the traffic light, which indicates that many are already on their way to work. As I move forward, the traffic soon gets so close to me, and here the street is filled with many people and vehicles who are all heading to their various places of work.
After walking for about 5 minutes ahead into another street towards my destination, I realize the stress is quiet once again, as I can hardly count 6 people walking ahead of me. But then I'm excited to at least see the street neat to an extent, which means those employed to do the cleaning of the street did a great job very early in the morning.
Entering into the street of my destination, I was very worried if I'll meet anyone in the office at those earlier hours of about 7:30 a.m., most especially given how quiet the street was. For example, for the rest of my walk until I arrived at the office, I and these ladies ahead of me were the only ones in the street, but then I must also commend those who thought it well to plant trees around the street.
Aside from the fact that the tree beautifies the surroundings, it also brings about free air and a pleasant view. I was fortunate to meet the person I went to see in the office and do all the clarification; the picture below is from the evening of that same day when I was heading back home after getting all my documentation sorted.
