A new addition to the family

Yesterday night, a few minutes after publishing my last post on Hive, I got some delightful news from my brother informing me that his wife had just given birth to a bouncing baby boy. The news came at a time when I was tired and stressed out from the tiring job I did during the election as an INCE staff, but immediately I heard the news, it felt like an energizer because it literally lifted my mood.

Although I've been an uncle before to some lovely nieces and nephews, having an addition is a delight for me. Being someone who loves and adores having kids around, I derive joy from having them around, and I certainly can't wait to pick him up or even wait till he grows so we can have some good time together.

It's quite funny, because I know having a new kid in the family is another avenue for my mom to remind me of the need to get married on time, and she didn't fail to remind me immediately I called to check up on the mother and my nephew, well, not to spoil her happy mood, this time around, I told her, it'll be pretty soon, hehehe, I've got other plans at the back of my mind, hehehe.

Well, the major thing is that I'm happy to have a new kid in the family, and whenever I pay them a visit, the house will be filled with kids to play with, and I'm already looking forward to that. Both the mother and the baby are fine and in good health, and they've already left the hospital since the same night, so that's a thing of joy.
