Happy New Year, friends and fellow hiveans, and the hive learner community at large. The year 2023 was a blessed year for me, filled with so many ups and a few downs, and I'm super grateful and excited about how this last year went. I own it to loads of people who stood by me and aided my journey, and on that note, I'll love to pen down an appreciation post to y'all in no particular order to say thank you, and let's do this again in 2024.
Firstly, I'll love to thank my maker, God almighty, for the grace to see another year in the land of the living. Left for me, I was living each day as they came without much planning for the year, and yet he keeps me on my feet, provides and protected for my family and me, and blesses the works of my hand. So on that note, I'll love to thank you Lord for your faithfulness despite my unfaithfulness.
Secondly, I'll love to say a big thank you to my parents and siblings for their unending love, care, and support throughout the year 2023. Not forgetting years before, I'm grateful for everything, and just so you know, I won't trade your guys for anyone else because you guys are simply the best parents and siblings anyone could have asked for. Thanks for coupling with my strong head.
And now over to the hive blockchain proper.
Firstly, I'll love to say a big thank you to Mr. D, better known as @neoxian, for being such an amazing person with a contagious personality that professes wisdom. I've learned a lot from him, and I've gotten loads of support that has aided my growth on the hive blockchain. I won't forget to thank him for creating such an amazing city where I met loads of friends, destiny helpers, and mentors with whom we journey through Hive throughout the year.
I'll love to appreciate my very own boss and mentor investor, @burlarj, who has been an inspiration to me, both directly and indirectly. I've run to him on several occasions, and he always has listening ears and a way out, which I'm thrilled about. One of the highlights is when I sent a hive to the wrong memo, and on a normal day I would have given up, but he guided me on how I could recover it, and it worked. Thanks so much, boss; you're a channel of blessings. @monica-ene my onboarder and the one who pave the way for me into the hive Blockchain, I'm grateful for all you've done and keep doing, all this might have been a mist without your impact, thanks so much dear. ❤️🤗
@nkemakonam89, thanks for being such a wonderful friend through the year; you're certainly one of my best pals on hive. Even though it seems you need cane lately, I'm still grateful for all you do and look forward to more of such this new year.
@b0s, my mentor and friend, thanks for being there and always having listening ears for my grumbles, gossip, and the like. Your help, attentiveness, and impact don't go unnoticed.
@oluwadrey, You're more than a friend to me; maybe I would have had ulcers if not for your timing intervention when I went to put my money in the Village Peoples Scheme. You've been my twin over the past 12 years, and I'm wondering what my life would be like without you in it. I love and cherish you, bro. @aunty-tosin my colleague and friend, thanks for having to deal with my troubles on a daily basis; you're my best pals at work, and I'm glad I met you. Cheers to more disturbance in this new year!
@flourishandflora, Thanks so much, my oga, for all you do. Thanks for your support, guidance, and overall being you. It's a pleasure to know you and learn from your well of wisdom. Thanks so much, boss, and cheers to more dealings in this new year.
@momogrow, I really appreciate and admire your personality. You're an amazing person with a large heart. Thanks so much for all you do. Thanks for trusting me and believing in what I do. Your words of encouragement are like medicine for my soul. I'll say, Thanks for being my hive mother, because that's how I see you. You're loved. @moremoney28, my brother, from another mother. Thanks for everything. Thanks for not getting tired of my disturbances and loads of errands. You're the best, and I wish you all the best this new year.
To my son, @sholex94, your impact doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks for your support and help in trying times. I didn't forget you, and I'm grateful for everything, even though I feel like flogging you. @princessbusayo, my sister from the same village, thanks for everything. You're a good lady with a large heart. I really appreciate your help, support, and accommodating my annoying messages and reactions. There are many others I would have loved to give a special shout-out to; unfortunately, my fingers are crying, and so is my family, crying for my attention as I write this. So on that note, kindly forgive my manners, as I appreciate y'all for being a stronghold in my journey in the last year.
