The best route by which anyone can really achieve whatever they crave is by setting goals. Goal setting is the pathway to success and realization of aspirations; setting goals helps us have our aspirations at the tip of our hands and also broods resilience and commitment towards them. Earlier this year, I laid down my goals and aspirations on the hive blockchain, and I'm here to say that despite all of the challenges and things that could have made it impossible to achieve, regardless, I've been able to achieve some, and I'm still on track with others.

Goal setting is more of an act of challenging oneself with different milestones we want or hope to achieve, and penning such a goal down is one of the first steps towards achieving them. Having it in mind is another way to bring it into reality, because having such a goal in mind is usually coupled with dedication and commitment to indulging in it, and this will help bring this goal to reality. Trust me, had I not laid down my goals earlier this year, I can categorically tell you that I wouldn't have achieved what I've at this point, but setting the goal kind of embedded me with double-strength and zeal, and I'm glad I did.
So earlier this year, I wrote a post about MY HIVE GOALS FOR THE YEAR 2023 on the hive blockchain, and below I paraphrase on them a little.
-
I talked about wanting to attain 6k HP by the end of the year, and by then I only had just 2352 HP, fast forward to today, I've been able to achieve this goal and even cross it over and now I've 6674Hp.

I talked about daily blogging throughout the year, and this is an aspect that was so challenging for me. In fact, at a point, the screen of my phone got damaged, and that's the only device I've got, which I'm using to access Hive. But all thanks to my goals that resided in my head, I couldn't afford to miss out on my goal because of this, so I just ran to a friend who lent me his phone for some hours, and within these hours I was able to write about five amazing content schedules to publish on different days, and hopefully my phone would have been in good shape by the end of the 5th day because I took it to an engineer for repair, so in a nutshell, my daily blogging goal is still very much alife.
-
I also talked about the daily powering up of at least one hive, and even though that's another challenging one that I tend to forget on most days, due to the fact that I've set it as a goal, I've been able to remember at the nick of time to power up before the day runs out, and I can categorically tell you that I've actively powered up 1 hive every single day of the year till today and will hope to do the same till the year runs out.

- I lastly talked about improving on my engagement, I use to be someone who made at least 30 to 50 engagement on hive, but since I was transferred to my new post at work, I've been so occupied and this drastically reduce my engagement, so I set a goal to make at least 5 comment outside my on post daily, and I've been able to work in that line, other I didn't meet upto that in some days, but I cover it up in other days.
That's all about my hive goals for this year, and now that I've come far, I'm working towards achieving the other ones that still needed my commitment till the year runs out. For the hive power goal that I've achieved, I've set another goal of 7,000 HP, which I plan on achieving before January of next year, and I hope this comes to reality.
Thanks for your time. Have a wonderful day.
